Pescado Y Amor was started on a warm summer day in Sayulita, Mexico. Where I lived played for six months fine tuning my ideas and my artistic imagination. Pescado Y Amor combines MY love of Mexico, love of the beach, and love of life and art. I now reside in Oak Island, North Carolina, where I Teach Workshops, Paint Tropical Beachy Paintings and Surf.
ABOUT Missy Tripp Ronquillo: Missy has studied art at The Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C.; Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia ; and Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia.
Since 1996, Missy has established herself as a freelance artist, specializing in custom paintings. with a reputation for exceptional creativity and an uncompromising approach to composition. Her work can be seen in restaurants, cafés, retail establishments, and private homes in the United States and Mexico.
Missy has been nominated by her community in 2018 and 2020 as Favorite Local Artist.
