Embark on a soulful journey to the heart of the North Carolina mountains for a unique painting retreat. Over a span of three days, immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, capturing the essence of the season with brush and palette.

Who Is This Retreat For?

While the vision is to gather a small group of 6-8 enthusiasts (both women and men are welcome), it's vital to note this is not a step-by-step painting workshop.

This retreat is more about celebrating the spirit of painting, camaraderie, and nature. If you're experienced, fantastic! If you’re new to the art but are excited to dive in, your enthusiasm is just as welcome. We're here to inspire and be inspired.

Whether you're a watercolor enthusiast, an oil paint aficionado, or a pastel lover, bring along your favorite medium and all the supplies you’ll need. This is your chance to capture nature's grandeur firsthand and translate your experience onto the canvas. So pack up your brushes, paints, and spirit of adventure, and get ready for a retreat where every day is a new creative exploration!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Nature's Canvas: Each day offers a new backdrop as we explore different locales, painting the vast and varied landscapes of the NC mountains.

Nature Walks: Go beyond the canvas and step into the scenes you paint. Enjoy daily hikes and soak in the autumnal splendor that the mountains offer.

Evening Reveries: As day turns to dusk, find comfort and camaraderie around a crackling bonfire. Share your day's creation, swap stories, and delve into gourmet dishes whipped up by our very own in-house chef, Ron.

Collaborative Artistry: More than just a retreat, it's an opportunity to connect. Paint not just the beautiful landscapes, but also bond over shared passions with both new and familiar faces.

Cancellation policy: Should you need to cancel your space, all payments become non-refundable if you cannot fill your spot. If you can fill your spot with a replacement, you will receive all payments back, less $350.

Guided Adventures: Each day begins with a rejuvenating hike tailored for all fitness levels, leading you to the day's chosen painting site.
Artistic Guidance: While this isn’t a step-by-step painting workshop, there will be moments of shared insights, techniques, and inspiration amongst fellow artists. Feel free to share, learn, or just immerse in your own painting world.
Local Cuisine: Every meal will be an event in itself. Prepared by our in-house chef Ron, expect a blend of local flavors and comforting classics.
Community Feel: With a small group size, the atmosphere will be intimate and supportive. Perfect for sharing stories, experiences, and forming new friendships.
Ease of Preparation: Upon registration, you'll receive a detailed list of suggested supplies and other recommendations to make your trip seamless and enjoyable.

Coffee, Tea, Water & Some Snacks. (Each level of the house has its own Kitchenette or Kitchen to provide you with your own living space)
